Waqqas is a co-founder of Mayfair and the firm’s Chief Transformation Officer. Today he spends his time supporting Portfolio Companies on their transformation journey which can include strategy development and execution, international expansion, M&A and digital transformation. He is responsible for the Specialist team and ensuring that each portfolio company receives the Specialist team’s support to execute their plans. He is also responsible for valuations and internal portfolio reporting.

Previous experience

Waqqas began his investing career at LDC where he completed several high-profile investments including Avelo, Easynet Global Services, TwoFour Productions and Blue Rubicon. He started his career at KPMG with clients including Nestle and Rolls Royce and spend the latter part of his time there building the Private Equity Group.

Education and qualifications

Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
