Thomas joined Mayfair as an independent specialist in 2020 and works with portfolio companies to realise value through technology, data and digital transformation. He helps management teams to navigate through complex and fast-paced technology improvements, including tech and product solutions for infrastructure, payment solutions, big data and eCommerce. A Danish national living in San Francisco, Thomas ensures Mayfair is connected to the US West Coast ecosystem of innovation and technology.

Previous experience

Prior to joining Mayfair, Thomas was Chief Digital Officer at Deutsche Bank where he had responsibility for driving the Corporate Bank’s global digital and innovation agenda. Before joining Deutsche Bank, Thomas was Chief Digital officer for Tesco, the UK’s largest retailer, where he was instrumental in transforming Tesco’s multi-channel, eCommerce, digital marketing and loyalty programs. Thomas spent the first 20 years of his career in senior leadership roles at Microsoft, Adobe, RealNetworks, Brightcove and MGI Software and is a survivor of both technology bubbles.

Education and qualifications

Thomas is an AP Graduate in Computer Science from Tietgen Business College, Odense, Denmark.
